TM eases depression

 

Two recent studies looked at more than 100 people aged 55 years and older who were at risk of cardiovascular disease.

The studies found that those who were randomly assigned to practise Transcendental Meditation showed a 48 percent reduction in depressive symptoms compared with those given health education, without the use of drugs or psychotherapy.
