TM and reduced anxiety

 

Researchers carried out a meta-analysis, that is an overview of a number of independent studies on the effects of different trait relaxation techniques. The meta-analysis demonstrated that Transcendental Meditation is more effective than other techniques of meditation or relaxation.

Results were drawn from 104 trait anxiety studies giving independent outcomes for TM, Progressive Relaxation, other forms of meditation, and other forms of relaxation.
